• 2002 and 2003, Summer Research Grant, American University in Cairo. Technology Applications in English Language Teaching in the Middle East.

 

• For research projects to further knowledge in a particular field which lead to publication (including the publication of creative work through exhibition or performance). Research grants must be completed within one year. Renewals may be considered for grants requiring more than one year to complete.

• 2002 Recipient of the D. Scott Enright Service Award, TESOL, Inc.

• The recipient is selected according to evidence of: 

a)  extraordinary service either to a particular TESOL interest section or to the TESOL Interest Section Council 

b)  notable leadership within either a particular TESOL interest section or on the TESOL Interest Section Council 

c)  the ability to stimulate professional interchange among TESOL interest section members 

d)  the ability to foster and mentor professional development among TESOL members through TESOL interest section involvement

e)  the ability to communicate interest section concerns to the larger TESOL membership.
