Selected University and Professional Service

  • Founder, TESOL International Association Career Path Development Professional Learning Network (PLN) Community of Practice.  With a membership of over 1,000 members within TESOL International Association communities and over 3,500 members on a highly active and engaged internationally focused social media group, participants apply for membership, agree to rules of communication, and engage in a variety of activities designed and moderated by our leadership team.  Our leaders are eight professionals across the world, including those in Bangladesh, Kenya, Singapore, and Tajikistan, and US-based members in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Florida.  Through our website and on social media, we offer a variety of resources:

  • We also offer a website containing a calendar of events, information on our Webinar Series and CLIMB Mentorship programs, a Collection of materials for those seeking to know more about TESOL career path development, and ongoing opportunities for members to meet and find common ground and differences too on current career-based topics.  I hold great respect and admiration for our leadership team (seven outstanding TESOL professional leaders whom I have selected) who have volunteered and agreed to help design, deliver and evaluate our programming annually. I’m so lucky!
